About the Project
The ideas and goals behind Mosaic Paths.
This project isn't just about creating interactive math content. It's about designing puzzles that capture the curiosity, experimentation, and satisfaction that draw people to mathematics and science in the first place.
Rather than emphasizing memorization or repetitive practice, these puzzles are designed to reward curiosity, experimentation, and pattern recognition.
My hope is that every puzzle gives players the feeling of discovering something for themselves—the same satisfaction that comes from solving a scientific problem or uncovering a mathematical pattern.
Currently in Development
Even though it was most peoples' favorite, I started a deep rewrite of Venn Diagrams with Unnecessary Lava.
The main improvements:
- Much cleaner and clearer code.
- A button to jump to the last saved level.
- Tighter Puzzles.
The current goals:
- Modify the placeholder victory screen.
- Tighten up the Elevator/Bob sequence.
- Add progress pips.
- Add level screens.
- Final check each puzzle.
